ABOUT GOODING

Gooding Contractors co-owners Lance Gooding and Brad Bowden both come from backgrounds in family owned and operated General Contracting Companies and both bring their grandfathers' and fathers' skills and values of honest and personal involvement to the construction process. In 2003, Lance and Brad combined their resources to focus on commercial and residential construction projects in the Beaufort area.

Lance Gooding is a 1993 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Construction Science and Management. Lance joined his family owned and operated construction business after college. Gooding Contractors, Inc. has been serving the Lowcountry's commercial and residential building needs over 35 years.

Brad Bowden is also a 1993 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Construction Science and Management. After working for over a decade in the construction industry near Atlanta, Georgia, Brad and his family relocated to Beaufort, SC and the beautiful neighborhood of Habersham.

Recent Gooding Contractors projects include custom and Market homes in Habersham, Coosaw Point and Brays Island, as well as commercial projects including Orchid Salon, the Grays Hill Fire Station, and the Habersham Park House. Gooding Contractors maintains an office in Habersham Town Center as well as their original location in Hampton, SC.

Gooding Contractors key to success is their relationships and communication with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors. These relationships develop and evoke trust and confidence within the construction team and lead into an innovative project management approach. Both Brad and Lance are dedicated to the traditions they come from and to the community and customers they serve.
